Currency trading with the sterling
UK pound is seeing a bit of bullishness right now, heading higher as the general sentiment runs to risk. With the latest German ruling, the eurozone is expected to be shored up.
Additionally, there are expectations that more easing will be announced for the US dollar, and that is helping other major currencies.
Even with the gains, though, there are still plenty of issues for the UK pound to overcome. The British economy remains sluggish, and austerity measures in place aren?t helping matters much. However, for now, just about every currency has the upper hand against the dollar, and it is helping matters for the pound.
