Additional Room on top of septic tank - Zillow Real Estate Advice

In most cases, REO's are sold "as is", with an option for buyer to get out of the contract within x number of days; else, one could buy an REO with air for foundation and there is nothing legally?a buyer can do about it.

When banks say "as is" in the purchase agreement, they really mean it.

Buyer is responsible for getting whatever inspection needs to happen before purchase. As i say in most of my posts here,?hiring a knowledgeable lawyer BEFORE a transaction?happens can save money many times over than what the lawyer would have charged.

You can still consult a lawyer who can review your purchase agreement and see what the bank's responsibility was.
